So there's so many different opinions on wheteher vegetarians and vegans get enough protein, In my opinion i think we do get slightly less with not eating meat but i wouldn't say it is enough to make us ill or to have major effect on our bodies.
A balanced diet is essential in everybody, meat eaters, vegans, vegetarians etc!
Being vegetarian is only like having a dairy intolerance, dairy is full of calcium and anyone who can't have dairy products have to find an alternative, so surely this is alll vegetarians and vegans need to do, replace meat with foods such as nuts, seeds, beans, pulses, vegetable protein foods and soya products all contain protein. There are also small amounts in grains and dairy products. Due to this variety of protein-rich foods available in the UK, protein deficiency is rare!

I think it is important we all know what is good for us and what is bad for us, something that is good for us can be bad for us aswell if we eat too much of it.
